I got the pants scared off me last night!

Oh my god, my friend, Annie my daughter and her friend Amy decided to visit Millets Farm near Abingdon, every one told us last year it was so scary and me being me, who just loves to be scared and who just loves this time of year, thought, yer why not, we try to go some where every Halloween, last year we went on the night tour of Warwick Castle, which was fab, but oh my word, there is a maze at Millets and all hell breaks loose at Halloween, you have to walk in darkness around this large maze going through dark tunnels and derelict caravans, well one place was like a little shack and in the corner was a very spooky guy with a chain saw, yes you guessed it, we were chased through the maze by this chain saw wielding spook, oh my lord, needless to say I had needed a wee on the way in and decided to wait, I sure didnt need one when I got out, strange that.

I have spent all day building my little Halloween scene by the front door and all the kids love getting spooked around here, they are so fab, they have all turned up in such wonderful costumes bless there little hearts, I keep telling Annie this is the last year cos she never helps, mmmm what teenager does hey, well she did give me moral support and advice bless her, and she has gone out with Amy in their Alice in Wonderland costumes while I open the door and frighten everyone, we have this new door with draught excluder around it and it makes this lush almighty wooooooooooooshing noise as it opens so thats always a good start, ha ha am I wicked to want to frighten every one who comes to the door, no after all I am a witch, well at least for tonight and I really do need to get my own back on that naughty chain saw man in some way don't I? The only down side to Halloween is it only lasts one night, grrrrr, well I had better go hang up my hat and head on over to the coven, oh sorry I meant oven, haven't eaten yet, what, you say, no children tonight, no no no too many adults around, NA HA HA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

Simon Says Stamp and Show Anything But a Card!

Hi there, I am on a roll now, trying to catch up with all the challenges, I decided to alter a match box, one of those big boxes, our cooker is always on the blink so we always have a big box laying around, I keep meaning to decorate one in all the lovely vintage papers but never get around to it, so I decided about an hour ago to go for the Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge, but I had to get on with it cos the challenge is only open for a few more hours, so here is my rushed match box. Lovely Nina had suggested that I enter this weeks Sweet Stampin challenge, so Mina thank you very much, I have just posted my link.

A big thank you to everyone

If you hadn't already seen the new Altered Alice blog you must take a look, especially as little ole me is actually the featured artist this week, yes I have actually been asked by Lynne to submit photos of my little Alice in Wonderland mini album, I am soooooo chuffed, it is such a fantastic little blog, and every one loves Alice in Wonderland, take a look and submit all your lovely Alice art, you could also be featured, its that simple.

I have to say this little mini book would not have been born if it wasn't for Hels Sherridan and Sue Roddis, hope I spelt your names right girls, apoloigies if not, I am an avid visitor to the Stamp Attic, the lovely Wendy was all excited about the new graphic 45 Alice in Wonderland papers she had just been delivered and on her little display table was the most amazing art I have every seen, Sue had brought in her fantastic Alice art that she had created using the new papers, it was the most beautiful and original work I have seen, she rocks doesn't she ladies, any way I was so impressed and had been collecting crafty bits for ever but could not decide where the be jesus to start, when after looking at Sue's work, my little grey cells went into over drive, I bought the lovely papers and the rest is history, so a very big thank you to Sue Roddis, Hels Sherridan and definitely lastly but not leastly, he he, Wendy of The Stamp Attic, oh which my art could not have been created, ladies you made my little grey matter start working up an appetite.

So when all you ladies take a trip over to the Altered Alice blog to give Lynne some support, take look at my mini album and  have a thought for the three lovely ladies who, without them, my mini Alice album would not have been born.

OH MY, WHAT HAVE I DONE NOW?

Oh dear oh dear oh dear, I think I might have craftilitous, you will never guess what I was up to at 230 this morning, well after sitting on the computer all day, my thoughts wondered to the blog hop challenge once again, then I realised that I had bought all these lovely clay books on how to make clay models, really fantastic tutorials in there, they hadn't been out of the cupboards in years so I thought, I know, I'll get the orange fimo out and make a pumpkin or two for my halloween piece that I am going to enter, because of course it is my favourite time of the year, but when I opened it up to the first few pages I found this cute little bird and thought, yay I will change the colours and make it a black bird, sneaky eh, well that was it, I spotted a really cute wizard, and that was it, I was hooked so here are the models I made last night, and baked at 230 in the morning

Well off I trunddled to bed but to my horror, couldn't sleep cos I had all these ideas going through my head, oh my, I had to get up
and go down stairs and write it all down, I must take a note book
                                                                with me tonight.

Well he looks a bit like me, after a session on CAD, bless him I know how he feels. Well girls I'm off for lunch with my friend next door soon and I must start putting my stuff together for the challenge, I've got to make those darn pumpkins but I could be a while, you know what happened last night, that darn book. Oh heres an after thought, one I obviously didn't think about...........how am I gonna get this chunky monkey into a shadow box, mmmmm might have to make and extra thick one. mmmmm watch this space.....might have to do a scene instead in an old shoe box, what do you recon, nah, never say never eh.

Christmas card

I was going to submit this to Craftstamper magazine for their ATC swap, it had to be Green Red and Gold and have lots of stamping but I didn't have the courage to send it, I have built a wee bit of courage and confidence up in the last couple of months and in hind sight it probably would have been a better choice for the Simon Says challenge of Layers, but never mind, here it is

Sorry about my rubbish camera.

My Peaceful Place

Hi, I'm really new to blogging so I will try and keep this short, I have been so inspired by all you ladies and all
your beautiful work, you are soooo talented. I am always visiting the Stamp Attic in Wantage, Wendy always cheers me up, and there is so much stuff there, I can't believe it, I was so excited when I saw all the Halloween Alice in Wonderland papers that it inspired me to create my very first mini album, my daughter and her pals got so excited they have decided to join in with the theme and do their trick or treating this year as, yes you guessed, Alice in Wonderland so they will compliment the album when I add my photos, what a neat idea of theirs, so far we have the Mad Hatter, Alice, The Queen of Hearts and The Cheshire Cat, this isn't a very short post, sorry, here is my very first mini.

I hope you like it, I definitely got the bug so I decided to make a little book to use up the papers I had left, so
here it is, ive only completed a couple of pages so far.

Ok, now I really did get the bug, here is my shadow box, I made a card box and placed it inside a normal
photo frame, creating space to do my thing.

And one last photo, here is a tag I made.
hope you enjoyed my art as much as I enjoyed looking at all yours.
